I took Abbie and Liz today for professional photographs. A lot of them turned out nicely. Here are some of the better ones.

Little Patriots

Mrs. Hymerling's morning and afternoon Kindergarten classes (and families) met for a picnic the last week of school at a park down the street from the school. Everyone wore red, white and blue. There were many yummy things to eat and the children entertained everyone by singing patriotic songs. I was amazed at how Abbie knew all the patriotic songs by heart -- Mrs. Hymerling has taught them through the year and the class always sang two patriotic songs after saying the pledge of allegiance each day at school.

Mister Softee Comes to Tatem

Colleen had Mister Softee come on the last day of school and treat Mrs. Hymerling's afternoon Kindergarten class to ice cream cones. In the picture with Abbie is her friend, Kelly and Kelly's mom, Colleen. Kelly's dad, Kevin, is in the background. I think this is a treat that the kids will remember for the rest of their lives!
