Elizabeth's Strawberry Shortcake Room

Elizabeth's room is finally finished!!! Tonight is the first night for her to sleep in her room. She has been sleeping in Abbie's room. The room started out empty with "old lady" wallpaper and a hideous radiator that was painted silver. About 6 months ago, I stripped the wallpaper off the walls and painted three walls pink. The fourth wall I painted white and then taped off stripes and painted green, pink, and red stripes. Then I found a great, gently used bedroom set on craigslist for $350 and bought it! Scott built and I painted a radiator cover. My dad put up a ceiling light/fan. I bought material and sewed the valances. My dad put up blinds. I painted the white trim. Today I cleaned everything and bought a red area rug. Everything has finally come together and the room is done! Whew! One project down, a million more to go!
